How To Book Online Jeep Safari In Sasan Gir :

A jeep safari in Gir National Park is the means to explore the forest and spot the Asiatic lions. The jeeps not only traverse through Sasan Gir, but also across the Gir Interpretation Zone, also known as Devaliya Park. The safaris are organised by the state forest department and are for approximately 3 hours in Gir and 55 minutes in Devaliya, which take tourists deep inside the safari zones to explore the fauna and flora of the national park. Tourists embarking on an open jeep safari within the park are escorted by a guide and driver who are approved by the forest department. The safari starts at the "Sinh Sadan" boarding point, where visitors are required to check in at least 30 minutes prior to the safari being scheduled.

Permit Requirements:

• The full names of all individuals who will be travelling.

• Provide accurate details of the preferred date and desired time for the safari (morning and/or afternoon).

• Both the original and a copy of Passport / Driving License / Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card are required for identity verification.

• Bookings are non-transferable.

• Reserved seats cannot be resold/exchanged with any other visitor.

Important Information - Safari at Gir National Park is accessible from mid-October to mid-June, while the Devaliya Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) remains open all year round.
